Abstract Šećerna bolest jedna je od deset vodećih kroničnih nezaraznih bolesti, u svijetu i u Hrvatskoj. Ona prati globalni trend porasta pobola u skladu sa nezdravim promjenama načina života i poprima karakteristika pandemije. Predstavlja veliki problem jer iz osnovne bolesti proistječu dodatne bolesti i komplikacije koje znatno umanjuju kvalitetu života. U ekonomskom smislu veliki su teret bolesnicima, njihovim obiteljima i nacionalnim zdravstvenim sustavima. Sve su to razlozi iz kojih je iznimno važno prepoznati način na koji faktori okoline i stil života dovode do pojave šećerne bolesti, i pravovremeno utjecati na njih. Prevencija šećerne bolesti na svim razinama zdravstvenog sustava ključna je odrednica borbe protiv širenja bolesti.
Cilj:Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrditi analizom prilika-utjecaja okoline i stila života kako one djeluju tijekom života na pojavu šećerne bolesti i njenih kasnijih komplikacija, utvrditi na osnovu anketiranja bolesnika njihov subjektivni osjećaj zdravlja u pogledu psihičkog, fizičkog i socijalnog funkcioniranja, ispitati i evaluirati neke od prehrambenih navika i navika pušenja, na osnovu mjerenja odrediti prosjek Indeksa tjelesne mase i utvrditi subjektivni osjećaj općenitog zadovoljstva životom.
Metode: Istraživanje je provedeno na 150 ispitanika na području grada Labina. Trajalo je od listopada 2014. godine do ožujka 2015. godine. Radi se o presječnom anketnom istraživanju. Za izradu rada korištena je literatura na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku i pojedinimoduli iz Hrvatske zdravstvene ankete ((HZA 2003/10), Croatian Adult Health Survey 2003/10) i to modul socioekonomske, demografske karakteristike odabranog ispitanika, Upitnik SF-36, modul o prehrambenim navikama, pušenju i kvaliteti života te se kod svakog ispitanika izmjerila težina i visina i izračunao Indeks tjelesne mase.
Abstract (english) Diabetes is one of the ten leading chronic diseases in the world and in Croatia. It follows the global trend of an increase in morbidity in accordance with the unhealthy lifestyle changes and takes on the characteristics of the pandemic. It represents a major problem because of the underlying disease resulting additional diseases and complications that significantly reduce quality of life. In economic terms are a great burden for patients, theirfamilies and national health systems. These are all reasons why it is extremely important to recognize the way that environmental factors and lifestyle lead to the occurrence of diabetes, and in time to influence them. Prevention of diabetes at all levelsof the health system is a key determinant of combating the spread of disease.
Objective:The objective of this study is to determine the analysis opportunity environmental influences and lifestyle as they work during the life of the occurrence of diabetesand its subsequent complications, determined on the basis of surveys of patients their subjective feeling of health in terms of mental, physical and social functioning, tested and evaluated Some of the dietary habits and smoking habits on the basis of measurements to determine the average body mass index and determine the subjective sense of overall satisfaction with life.
Methods: The study was conducted on 150 patients in the town of Labin. It lasted from October 2014 to March 2015. It is a cross-sectional survey research. To create a work of literature was used in Croatian and English, and individual modules from the Croatian Health Survey ((CAHS 2003/10), Croatian Adult Health Survey 2003/10) and a module of socio-economic, demographic characteristics of the selected patients, the SF-36 questionnaire, module about eating habits, smoking and quality of life and in every subject measured weight and height and calculate body mass index.
