Abstract (english) Injuries may happen on a sport courts even to the professional athletes, but to the amateurs also. After the injury it is important to take care of it immediately with a RICE menagement: resting, cooling with ice, compression and elevation of an injured limb, which is important for preventing further damage and acceleration of recovery. After injury menagement, rehabilitation begins with various physiotherapeutic modalities combined with kinesitherapy. Criotherapy is used in accute phase and thermotherapy in later phases of rehabilitation. Electrostimulation, ultrasound therapy and laser therapy have many benefits during the process of rehabilitation. Kinesitherapy starts with passive excercises, in which athletes need help with performing the movement. Gradually, with improvement of rehabilitation, athlete can perform the excecises on its own. Every injury menagement and rehabilitation needs individual approach with tracking an improvement of injured body part and surrounding structures. Achieved progress conditions moving to the next phase of rehabilitation. For complete return on a sports court of the utmost importance is pain and swelling prevention, recovery of muscle strenght and power, assuring the stability of injured body part, gradual improvement of endurance and sport skills. The decision of returning to the competitive sport is made by athlete, physiotherapist, physiatrist, coach and other members of medical team who were participating in injury menagement (surgeons, orthopaedics).
