Abstract
Riječ anksioznost podrazumijeva osjećaj tjeskobe, straha, panike, uznemirenosti, zabrinutosti. To je emocija koju skoro svaka osoba doživi tijekom svog života, a najčešće se javlja kao odgovor na stres. Anksiozni poremećaji su jedni od najčešćih psihijatrijskih poremećaja. Smatraju se najčešćim ne samo psihološkim već i zdravstvenim problemom sa životnom prevalencijom do čak 20-30%. U anksiozne poremećaje spadaju: fobije, panični poremećaj, opsesivno-kompulzivni poremećaj, generalizirani anksiozni poremećaj, mješoviti anksiozno-depresivni poremećaj, posttraumatski stresni poremećaj i akutni stresni poremećaj. Za ukupno opterećenje bolestima, unutar skupine mentalnih poremećaja, anksiozni poremećaji zastupljeni su s udjelom od 13,7%. Anksiozna osjetljivost odnosi se na strahove od tjelesnih senzacija povezanih s anskioznošću. Ono je povezano s uvjerenjima da simptomi anksioznosti i tjelesne senzacije mogu imati teške posljedice.
Abstract (english)
The term anxiety refers to a feeling of anxiety, fear, panic, anxiety and worry. It is an emotion that almost every person experiences during their lifetime, and most often occurs in response to stress. Anxiety disorders are among the most common psychiatric disorders. They are considered the most common not only psychological but also a health problem with a life-time prevalence of as much as 20-30%. Anxiety disorders include: phobias, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, mixed anxiety-depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and acute stress disorder. Anxiety disorders accounted for about 13.7% of the global burden of mental disorders. Anxiety sensitivity is related to fears of physical sensations associated with anxiety. It is associated with beliefs that symptoms of anxiety and physical sensations might have severe consequences.
