Abstract
Ciljevi istraživanja: Prikazati incidenciju legionarske bolesti u Istarskoj županiji za razdoblje od siječnja 2007. do prosinca 2017. godine, usporedba oboljelih po dobnim skupinama te prikaz distribucije po spolu. Nacrt studije: Presječno istraživanje. Ispitanici i metode: Istraživanjem je retrospektivno analizirano 11-godišnje razdoblje u kojem je dijagnosticirano 14 slučajeva oboljelih od legionarske bolesti. Podatci su dobiveni iz baze podataka Zavoda za javno zdravstvo Istarske županije.... More Analizirani su podatci o dobi i spolu ispitanika, prikazana je raspodjela po dobnim skupinama, epidemiološkim područjima te rizičnim čimbenicima. Rezultati: U promatranom uzorku 85,7 % osoba muškog je spola. Aritmetička sredina dobi pacijenata iznosi 54,64 godine, medijan 54,5 godine, minimalna dob 28 godina, a maksimalna 76 godina. U 2009. godini zabilježeno je najviše (78,6 %) slučajeva, a u promatranom razdoblju najviše je zastupljeno epidemiološko područje grada Poreča s 35,7 %. Uočen je podjednak broj oboljelih u dobnim skupinama od 45 do 54 i od 55 do 64 godine (6 + 6), dok u dobnim skupinama od 0 do 24, od 35 do 44 te od 65 do 74 godine nije zabilježen niti jedan slučaj infekcije bakterijom Legionella pneumophila. U promatranom uzorku 64,3 % osoba pripada rizičnoj skupini starijoj od 50 godina života. Zaključak: U Istarskoj županiji je u promatranom 11-godišnjem razdoblju zabilježeno ukupno 14 slučajeva infekcije osoba bakterijom Legionella pneumophila. Najviše slučajeva zabilježeno je 2009. godine kao posljedica epidemije koja je uzrokovala 10 slučajeva. Po broju oboljelih prednjači grad Poreč. Abstract (english)
Research goals: To present the incidence of Legionnaires’ disease in the Region of Istria for January 2007 – December 2017, comparison of affected patients by age groups and presentation of gender distribution. Study design: Cross-sectional study. Subjects and methods: Retrospective study analysis of an 11 year period during which 14 cases of Legionnaires’ disease were diagnosed. The highest number of cases (78,6 %) was recorded in 2009, and the highest prevalence during the observation period was in the epidemiologic area of the City of Poreč with 35,7 %. An equal number of cases was notices in the age groups 45 – 54 and 55 – 64 (6 + 6), while no cases of infections with Legionella pneumophila were recorded in the age groups 0 – 24, 35 – 44, and 65 – 74. In the sample group, 64,3 % of the subjects belong to the risk group of over 50 years of age. Conclusion: In the Region of Istria a total of 14 cases of infections with the bacteria Legionella pneumophila were recorded during the observed period of 11 years. The highest number of cases was recorded in 2009 as a result of an epidemic which caused 10 cases. The City of Poreč had the highest number of cases.
