Abstract | Ciljevi istraživanja: Utvrditi rizične čimbenike za nastanak koronarne bolesti, usporediti pojavu rizičnih čimbenika s obzirom na dob i spol i utvrditi pojavnost svakog rizičnog čimbenika kod koronarnog i nekoronarnog bolesnika. Nacrt studije: Retrospektivna studija. |
Abstract (english) | Research objectives: determination of risk factors responsible for coronary heart disease, risk factors' appearance in comparison to the respondents’ age and sex, and determination of the manifestation of every risk factor in coronary and non-coronary heart disease patients. Study design: retrospective study Respondents and methods: the research comprises 636 respondents of both sexes, whose age ranges from under 39 to over 80 and who have been treated at the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of the Osijek KBC (Clinical Hospital Osijek) from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2016. The research included patients suffering from coronary heart disease and those not suffering from the disease. Results: the research comprised 436 (68.6%) male and 200 (31.4%) female patients. Hypertension is present in 528 (82,2%) respondents, 206 (32.6%) patients suffer from diabetes, 57 (9.00%) patients are smokers, while 124 (19.5%) patients suffer from hyperlipoproteinemia. Coronary disease is present in 543 (85.4%) respondents, while non-coronary disease is present in 93 (14.6%) respondents. Among the respondents suffering from coronary heart disease, 450 (82,9%) suffer from hypertension, 193 (35.5%) from diabetes, 43 (7.9.0%) patients are smokers, while 123 (22.7%) respondents suffer from hyperlipoproteinemia. Among the respondents who do not suffer from coronary heart disease, 73 (78.5%) suffer from hypertension, 13 (14.00%) patients suffer from diabetes, 14 (15.00%) patients are smokers, while 1 (0.1 %) of them suffers from hyperlipoproteinemia. Conclusion: risk factors are most present in the respondents from 60 to 69 years of age, and are equally distributed in both sexes. Risk factors are more present in the respondents suffering from coronary heart disease. |
