Abstract
Ovaj rad će se baviti vokalnom formom umjetničke solo pjesme, odnosno preciznije rečeno, njemačkim Lied- om. Lied je umjetnička pjesma vezana uz njemačko govorno područje i razdoblje romantizma. Izvodi se uz pratnju klavira ili orkestra, isključivo ne temelju notnog zapisa, po čemu dobiva konotaciju umjetničkog, i emancipaciju od narodnog. Iako je umjetnička pjesma nacionalno zastupljena duž cijele Europe – u Francuskoj, Engleskoj, Rusiji - fokusirati ću se na njemačke i austrijske skladatelje 19. i 20. stoljeća koji su uvelike proslavili tu glazbenu formu. Među njih spadaju Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Hugo Wolf te u dvadesetom stoljeću Gustav Mahler i Richard Strauss. Osim toga prikazat ću razvoj umjetničke pjesme od srednjeg vijeka do 20. Stoljeća, nastanak i formiranje Lieda kao pojma i zasebnog žanra u romantizmu, te dotaknuti se i interpretacije solo pjesme.
Abstract (english)
This work will deal with one particular vocal form - the art song, or more precisely, the German Lied. Lied is an art song related to the German-speaking countries and the Romantic period. It is performed with the accompaniment of a piano or orchestra, solely from the notes, which gives it the connotation of the artistic, and the emancipation from the folk. Although the art song is nationally represented throughout Europe - in France, England, Russia - I will focus on German and Austrian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries who greatly celebrated this musical form. These include Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Hugo Wolf and in the twentieth century Gustav Mahler and Richard Strauss. In addition, I will present the development of artistic song from the Middle Ages to the 20th Century, the emergence and formation of Lied as a term and a separate genre in Romanticism, and touch on the interpretation of the solo song.
