Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada je analiza Sonate u D-duru za flautu i klavir, op. 94 Sergeja Prokofjeva. Ova sonata sastoji se od četiri stavka kontrastnih karaktera. Zauzima posebno mjesto u Prokofjevljevu stvaralaštvu jer je to njegova jedina skladba u kojoj flauta ima istaknutu solističku ulogu. Sonata je skladana u neoklasicističkom stilu, a stavci su tradicionalnih oblika koje nalazimo u instrumentalnom četverostavačnom obliku razdoblja klasike i romantike. Skladba je nastala po narudžbi Udruženja sovjetskih skladatelja, a praizvedena je 1943. u izvedbi ruskog flautiste Nikolaya Ivanovicha Kharkovskog te proslavljenog ruskog pijanista Svyatoslava Richtera. Nastala je u posljednjem desetljeću Prokofjevljeva života te stavlja posebne zahtjeve pred interpreta, pogotovo jer zahtjeva kvalitetu zvuka i tonsku raznolikost koju nije jednostavno postići na flauti.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this thesis is the Sonata in D major for Flute and Piano, Op.94, by Sergei Prokofiev. This sonata consists of four movements with very contrasting characters. It puts special place in Prokofiev's opus because it is his only work with a solo part of the flute. The Sonata is composed in the neoclassical style, with movements written in the traditional forms found in the instrumental four-movement form of the period of classicism and romanticism. The work was commissioned by the Association of Soviet Composers and was first performed in 1943 by Russian flutist Nikolay Ivanovich Kharkovsky and the celebrated Russian pianist Sviatoslav Richter. It was composed in the last decade of Prokofiev's life and puts special demands on the interpreter, especially since it requires sound quality and tonal diversity that is not easy to achieve on the flute.
