Abstract
Diplomski rad bavi se porijeklom gitare. Započinje pregledom glazbala nastalih kod Hetita, babilonaca i Grka, a koja su mogla biti preteča gitare. Zatim slijedi daljnja analiza razvoja gitare i srodnih glazbala kroz srednji vijek, te konačno preoblikovanje u modernu gitaru. Na kraju rad donosi biografiju Antonija de Torresa.
