Abstract
Banke su važna karika monetarne politike države i njihova opća zadaća je financijsko posredovanje. Najveći utjecaj na razvoj bankovnog sustava Republike Hrvatske je imao državni status. Do postizanja neovisnosti RH je bila u sastavu drugih država i pod njihovim utjecajem koji je ostavio traga i na bankarstvo. Danas odobrenje za rad u RH ima 20 banaka, 3 stambene štedionice te HBOR. Valutna klauzula se ugovara s ciljem očuvanja realne vrijednosti neke transakcije tijekom ugovornog odnosa. Valutna klauzula se uglavnom vezuje za ugovore o kreditu. Najpoznatiji problem valutne klauzule u RH se rješava i dan danas a to je problem kredita u švicarskim francima.
Abstract (english)
Banks are an important link in the monetary policy of the state and their general task is financial intermediation. The state status had the greatest influence on the development of the banking system of the Republic of Croatia. Until the independence of the Republic of Croatia, it was part of other states and under their influence, which left its mark on banking. Today, 20 banks, 3 housing savings banks and HBOR are approved to operate in the Republic of Croatia. The currency clause is contracted with the aim of preserving the actual values of some transactions during the contractual relationship. The currency clause is mainly tied to loan agreements. The most famous problem of the currency clause in the Repub lic of Croatia is still being solved today, and that is the problem of loans in Swiss francs.
