Abstract
Tema završnog rada obrađuje implikacije masovnog turizma. Masovni turizam je oblik turizma u kojem je zastupljen veliki broj turista na određenom odredištu u kratkom vremenskom razdoblju. To je naročito omogućio razvoj cestovne i zračne infrastrukture dovodeći veliki broj ljudi na zanimljiva turistička odredišta. Implikacije masovnog turizma se uglavnom vežu uz negativni kontekst jer je dokazano da pretjerana posjećenost određenih mjesta djeluje negativno na to mjesto, nanoseći štetu prirodnom okolišu i kulturnom blagu. Međutim treba napomenuti da masovni turizam ima i određene prednosti osobito u ekonomskom smislu, što se ogleda u masovnoj potrošnji i otvaranju novih radnih mjesta. Isto tako turisti uvode nove vrijednosti i sudjeluju u kulturnoj razmjeni.
Abstract (english)
The topic of the final paper deals with the implications of mass tourism. Mass turism is a form of tourism in which a large number of tourists are represented at a particular destination in a short period of time. This has especially enabled the development of road and air infrastructure by bringing a large number of people to interesting tourists destinations. The implications of mass tourism are mainly related to negative effect on that place, because it is harming the natural environment and cultural treasures. However, it should be noted that mass tourism have certain advantages, especially in economic terms, which is reflected in mass consumption and job opening. Likewise, tourists introduce new values and participate in cultural exchange.
