Abstract
Sustav gospodarenja otpadom u Republici Hrvatskoj je gledajući sa zakonodavne razine odgovarajući i usklađen je sa propisima EU, ali ne funkcionira u praksi. Razlog tome je što se propisi o gospodarenju otpadom ne provode u cijelosti. Plan za budućnost je uspostava županijskih centara za gospodarenje otpadom po kojem bi svaka županija u RH imala svoj centar. U radu su analizirani načini zbrinjavanja otpada, te su navedeni neki primjeri dobre prakse koje bi trebalo slijediti, a između ostalog analiziran je i nacrt plana gospodarenja otpadom u RH Ministarstva zaštite okoliša i prirode za razdoblje od 2015. – 2021., odnosno različite mjere za adekvatno gospodarenje otpadom. Nadalje, rad se bavi i problematikom odlaganja otpada na teritoriju RH, te su analizirana neka od odlagališta koja su u procesu sanacije.
Abstract (english)
Waste management system in the Republic of Croatia may correspond to the legislative framework of the EU, but is significantly dysfunctional in relation to its implementation. The main reason is that its regulations are not fully implemented. The project of the utmost importance for the future is the construction of regional and county waste management centres. Throughout this thesis effective means of garbage disposal will be analysed and the examples of good practice will be presented. Furthermore, Waste Management Plan of the Republic of Croatia for 2015 – 2021 will also be analysed with a variety of measures for the adequate waste management. Moreover, this thesis deals with the environmental issue of waste disposal and will present a few landfills currently in the remediation process.
