Abstract
Bankarski financijski sektor prolazi kroz velike promjene i pred njim su veliki tehnološki izazovi. Poslovanje banaka iz godine u godinu sve se više modernizira. Tradicionalno bankarstvo okrenuto građanima već je i prije doživjelo neke od promjena kojima se uspješno prilagodilo i iz svega izašlo još jače. Ključni događaji dogodili su se pojavom telefonskog bankarstva, tijekom osamdesetih kao i pojavom internetskog bankarstva devedesetih godina prošlog stoljeća, te posljednjih godina pojavom FinTecha. Unatoč svim tim promjenama tradicionalno bankarstvo je opstalo. Poslovnice još uvijek postoje, ljudi još uvijek u njima podižu i polažu novac, ugovaraju kredite i hipoteke. Banke još uvijek imaju monopol i vlasnici su svih korisničkih računa. Otvoreno bankarstvo to bi trebalo promijeniti i tako dovesti do najveće promjene u bankarskom sektoru.
Abstract (english)
The banking and financial sector is undergoing major changes and is facing major technological challenges. The business of banks is becoming more and more modernized from year to year. Traditional citizen-oriented banking has already undergone some of the changes to which it has successfully adapted and emerged even stronger. Key events occurred with the advent of telephone banking, during the 1980s as well as the advent of internet banking in the 1990s, and in recent years with the advent of FinTech. Despite all these changes, traditional banking has survived. Branches still exist, people still raise and deposit money in them, arrange loans and mortgages. Banks still have a monopoly and own all user accounts. Open banking should change this and thus lead to the biggest change in the banking sector.
