Capital markets represent a significant part of financial markets that combine supply and demand for financial instruments. In Croatia, securities are traded on the stock exchange, i.e. a regulated market where shares are traded as equity securities representing a share in the ownership of a joint-stock company and bonds, debt securities with which governments or companies borrow in an amount increased by interest, most often with a maturity of more than a year. In the operation of the capital market, the transparency and efficiency of the information system that arrives from the competent institutions (HANFA) to all investors who make investment decisions, ensuring equality on the market, is key. In this paper, the situation on the Croatian capital market will be analyzed in detail with the help of technical analysis tools on the example of a certain stock (that is, the movement of trade volume and prices of observed stocks and stock market indices). Based on the historical movement of prices and trading volume, that is, the psychology of the masses, future market movements can be significantly determined for making the most desirable investment decisions.
