Abstract
Cilj ovog završnog rada je analizirati društvene kapacitete nosivosti turističke destinacije u gradu Novalji. Provedenom analizom došlo se do zaključaka kako turizam u gradu Novalji karakterizira ubrzani rast, stoga proces turističkog rasta treba održavati korištenjem koncepta turizma. Potrebno je riješiti problem razvoja turizma u destinaciji prema održivom turizmu. Kod koncepta socijalne nosivosti u turističkoj destinaciji Novalja socijalni aspekt je manje naglašen u razvoju turizma, dok su dionici poput turista i lokalnog stanovništva okosnica razvoja turizam u turističkom mjestu. Stoga je u određivanju održivog razvoja turizma u Novalji i određivanje kapaciteta nosivosti od ključnog značaja.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this final paper is to analyze the social capacities of the carrying capacity of the tourist destination in the city of Novalja. The conducted analysis led to the conclusions that tourism in the city of Novalja is characterized by accelerated growth, therefore the process of tourist growth should be maintained using the concept of tourism. It is necessary to solve the problem of tourism development in the destination towards sustainable tourism. With the concept of social carrying capacity in the tourist destination Novalja, the social aspect is less emphasized in the development of tourism, while stakeholders such as tourists and local residents are the backbone of the development of tourism in a tourist destination. Therefore, in determining the sustainable development of tourism in Novalja, the determination of carrying capacity is of key importance.
