Abstract
Cilj platforme za orkestraciju E2E (engl. end to end) testova je orkestracija svih potrebnih procesa, njihovo praćenje te evidencija rezultata testova za kasniji uvid. Kako platforma ne bi bila samo omotač (engl. wrapper) oko Jenkins korisničkog sučelja, platforma omogućava korisniku dodatne pogodnosti kao što su postavljanje (engl. deployment) specificiranih verzija pojedinih mikro servisa prije nego što se testovi pokrenu kako bi se testirale specifične promjene na pojedinim granama. Kako bi se verzije mogle odabrati one prvo moraju biti dostupne kao artefakti (engl. artifacts) na sustavu za upravljanje artefakata. U sklopu platforme podrazumijeva se integracija sa sljedećim sustavima: DM (engl. Deployment Manager), FDM (engl. Frontend Deployment Manager) i Jenkins. Objedinjavanjem svih ovih sustava u jednu integracijsku točku, omogućuje se fluidno i intuitivno korisničko iskustvo, s ciljem ranije detekcije pogrešaka.
Abstract (english)
The goal of the E2E test orchestration platform is the orchestration of all required processes, their tracking and persistence of test results for future insights. For the platform to not end up just as a wrapper around the Jenkins UI the platform enables additional features such as deployment of specified versions of selected microservices before tests are ran so that changes on feature branches can be tested. In order for the versions to be selectable they need to be available as an artifact in the remote artifact registry. The scope of the platform takes into account the integration with DM (Deployment Manager), FDM (Frontend Deployment Manager) and Jenkins. Unifying all these systems into a single integration point, enabling fluid and intuitive user experience, with the goal of earlier detection of bugs.
