Abstract
U elektroenergetskom sustavu je došlo do povećanja udjela obnovljivih izvora energije što znatno utječe na način njegovog vođenja. Potreba za dodatnom regulacijskom energijom proizlazi iz promjenjivosti i (ne)predvidljivosti proizvodnje vjetroelektrana i solarnih panela. Upotreba spremnika energije velikog kapaciteta se nameće kao jedno od rješenja problema. U današnje vrijeme se za proizvodnju električne energije uglavnom upotrebljavaju konvencionalni (neobnovljivi) izvori energije poput fosilnih i nuklearnih goriva. Glavni nedostatak neobnovljivih izvora energije je negativan utjecaj na okoliš. Zbog toga se proizvodnja električne energije sve više okreće prema obnovljivim izvorima energije (sunčeva energija, energija vjetra, energija vode). Obnovljivi izvori energije su nepredvidljivi, te proizvodnja električne energije ovisi o različitim čimbenicima kao što su vremenski uvjeti. Skladištenjem energije povećava se učinkovitost, smanjuju se troškovi proizvodnje i olakšava se upotreba obnovljivih izvora energije.
Abstract (english)
The power system has increased the share of renewable energy sources, which significantly influences the way it is run. The need for additional regulatory energy derives from the variability and predictability of wind power and solar panels production. The use of a large capacity energy tank imposes itself as one of the solutions to the problem. Today, electricity is mainly used for conventional (non-renewable) sources of energy such as fossil and nuclear fuels. The main disadvantage of non-renewable energy sources is a negative impact on the environment. As a result, electricity generation is increasingly turning towards renewable sources of energy (solar energy, wind energy, water energy). Renewable energy sources are unpredictable, and electricity production depends on various factors such as weather conditions. Energy storage improves efficiency, reduces production costs and facilitates the use of renewable energy sources.
