Abstract
Često se postavlja pitanje koji pokazatelj na najbolji i najsveobuhvatniji način prezentira stanje poslovanja poduzeća. Kao jedan od najčešće spominjanih pokazatelja je dobit poslovanja iz koje poduzeća osiguravaju egzistenciju i opstojnost. Ostvarivanje dobiti se usko povezuje s profitabilnosti poslovanja. Međutim kroz godine se uočava da poduzeća upadaju u poslovne poteškoće unatoč ostvarenoj dobiti iz poslovanja uslijed nedostatnih novčanih sredstava. Stoga se u bliskoj prošlosti sve više naglasak stavlja na novac i novčana sredstva, odnosno novčani tok kojim poduzeća osiguravaju likvidnost i solventnost poslovanja. Udovoljavanje likvidnosti i solventnosti se nameće kao prioritet u današnje vrijeme koje je obilježeno nedostatkom novčanih sredstava.
Abstract (english)
It is often questionable which indicator presents the state of the way one company is doing business in the best and most comprehensive way. One of the most frequently mentioned indicators is the profit of the business, from which the companies ensure their existence. The profit itself is closely connected to the profitability of the business. However, it has been noticed over the years that no matter the profit, the companies face various difficulties due to insufficient funds. That is the reason why more emphasis is placed on money itself, meaning the cash flow that provides liquidity and solvency, although the absence of money is present.
