| Abstract | Cilj istraživanja: Utvrđivanje uloge medicinske sestre/tehničara u anesteziološkom timu, kompetencija i dužnosti medicinske sestre/tehničara kao člana anesteziološkog tima.
Zaključak: Medicinska sestra/tehničar kao član anesteziološkog tima (čine ga anesteziološka medicinska sestra/tehničar i specijalist anesteziologije, reanimatologije i intenzivnog liječenja) je medicinska sestra/tehničar specijalist anestezije, a to zvanje stječe polaganjem specijalističkog programa propisanog pravilnikom Ministarstva zdravstva i socijalne skrbi. Dužnosti i kompetencije medicinske sestre/tehničara u anesteziološkom timu uključuju prijeoperacijsku, perioperacijsku i poslijeoperacijsku skrb bolesnika, primjenu propisane anestezije, asistiranje liječniku specijalistu, pripremu i provjeru anesteziološke opreme i lijekova anestetika, kao i ostale potrebne opreme za monitoring, reanimaciju, lijekove, krvne pripravke i infuzijske tekućine, kontinuirani monitoring bolesnika, vođenje anesteziološke dokumentacije, prepoznavanje hitnih stanja i provođenje hitnih postupaka reanimacije. Potrebna znanja medicinske sestre/tehničara u anesteziološkom timu uključuju poznavanje tipova anestezije, vrste anestetika, njihovu primjenu, dozu i nuspojave, prepoznavanje hitnih stanja i potrebnih intervencija, rukovanje potrebnom tehničkom opremom (oprema za invazivni i neinvazivni monitoring, anestezijski aparat, anestezijski stolić, oprema za reanimaciju), poznavanje potrebnih lijekova, njihovog djelovanja, primjene, doze i nuspojave te simptome mogućih poslijeoperacijskih komplikacija. Anesteziološka medicinska sestra/tehničar mora kontinuirano usavršavati svoja znanja i vještine. |
| Abstract (english) | Goal: To establish the role of nurse anesthetist, in particular, competencies and duties of nurse anesthetist as a member of anesthesiology team.
Conclussion: Nurse who is a member of anesthesiology team (together with medical doctor anesthetist) is a nurse anesthetist, specialized in anesthesia, the title obtained by passing specialistic program, regulated by Ministry of health. Duties and competencies of nurse anesthetist, as a member of anestesiology team, include preoperative, operative and postoperative care of a patient, administration of prescribed anesthesia, asisting doctor anesthetist, preparation and inspection of anesthesiology equipement and anesthestic drugs, as well as all other necessary equipement for monitoring vital signs, resuscitation, drugs, transfusion and IV fluids, constant patient monitoring, recognizing emergency procedures. Nurse anesthetist needs special knowledge, consisting of recognizing different types of anesthesia, types of anesthetics, their dosage, application and side effects, recognizing emergencies and necessary interventions, handling equipment (invasive and non invasive monitoring, anesthesia machine, anesthesia table, resusciation equipment), required drugs, their dosage, application, activity and side effects and symptoms of possible postoperative complications. Nurse anesthetist has to continually perfect her knowledge and skills. |
