Abstract Cilj završnog rada bio je procijeniti potrebe palijativne skrbi stanovništva Zagore Splitsko-dalmatinske županije koje kao i cijela SDŽ nema sadržaja organizirane, planirane sustavne provedbe palijativne skrbi već se ista provodi spontano po potrebama.
Prema metodologiji Novozelandskog savjeta za palijativnu skrb, a temeljem pokazatelja rutinske mortalitetne zdravstvene statitike za razdoblje 2009.-2013. godine dostupne u Nastavnom zavodu za javno zdravstvo SDŽ deskriptivnom metodom procijenjeno je da su u Zagori SDŽ potrebe palijativne skrbi jednake potrebama u cijeloj SDŽ.
Kod svih dobi potrebe palijativne skrbi dvostruko su veće kod muškog spola 642,62/100.000 (95% CI 578,0-707,2), nego kod ženskog spola 350,87/100.000 (95% CI 320,0-381,7).
Novotvorine su prevladavajući uzrok smrti (80% kod muškaraca i 67% kod žena). Kod muškaraca na drugom mjestu su kronične opstruktivne plućne bolesti, a kod žena bolesti srca. U dobi do 65 godina veći su udjeli žena potrebnih palijativne skrbi iz razloga povećane smrtnosti od ginekoloških novotvorina. U dječjoj dobi i dobi adolescenata do 19 godina prosječno godišnje godišnje umire jedan osoba potrebna palijativne skrbi.
Procijenjen broj potrebnih kreveta za palijativnu skrb u Zagori je devet kreveta.
U organizaciji i provedbi palijativne skrbi uloga medicinske sestre je neizostavna i od izuzetnog značaja.
Za prvo početno organizirano djelovanje, uz korištenje postojećih sadržaja u zdravstvenim ustanovama i ustanovama za smještaj starijih i nemoćnih, neophodno je provesti doedukaciju zdravstvenih djelatnika i volontera za provedbu palijativne skrbi u kući bolesnika.
Od strane područnih županijskih vlasti potrebno ishoditi početna sredstva za posudionice neophodne opreme za provedbu palijativne skrbi u kući.
Abstract (english) The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the need for palliative care in the population of Zagora Split-Dalmatia counties, and the whole SDŽ has no content of organized, planned the systemic implementation of palliative care but they are carried out spotaneously by needs.
According to the methodology of the New Zealand Council for palliative care, based on indicators of mortality routine health stats for the period 2009th-2013th was available in the Teaching Institute for Public Health SDŽ descriptive method was estimated to be in Zagora SDŽ needs for palliative care are equal to needs throughout SDŽ.
In all ages the need for palliative care are twice in males 642.62 / 100,000 (95% CI 578.0 to 707.2) than in females 350.87 / 100,000 (95% CI 320.0 to 381.7 ).
Neoplasms are the predominant cause of death (80% in men and 67% in women). With men on second place as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and heart disease in women. At the age of 65 years are higher shares of women needed palliative care for the reason of increased mortality of gynecological neoplasms. In childhood and adolescents aged up to 19 years on average per year die annually one person need palliative care.
Estimated number of required beds for palliative care in Zagora is nine beds.
In the organization and implementation of palliative care, the role of nurses is indispensable and of great importance.
For the first initial organized activity, with the use of existing facilities in health institutions and institutions for the elderly and infirm, it is necessary to conduct additional education of medical professionals and volunteers to implement palliative care in the patient's home.
By the regional county government needs to obtain initial funding for renting the necessary equipment for the implementation of palliative care in the home.
