Abstract Zdravstveni odgoj se u osnovnim i srednjim školama u RH provodi od 2012/2013. godine. Svrha zdravstvenog odgoja je uspješan razvoj djece i mladih kako bi stasali u zdrave, zadovoljne, uspješne, samosvjesne i odgovorne osobe. Program Zdravstvenog odgoja temelji se na holističkom poimanju zdravlja, koje obuhvaća očuvanje zdravlja i kvalitete života, humane odnose između spolovima i ljudsku spolnost, prevenciju ovisnosti, kulturu društvene komunikacije te prevenciju nasilničkog ponašanja. Sve to se provodi kroz četiri modula Zdravstvenog odgoja: Živjeti zdravo, Prevencija ovisnosti, Prevencija nasilničkog ponašanja te Spolno/rodna ravnopravnost i odgovorno spolno ponašanje.
Važan cilj svih modula je razvoj tolerancije, pomoću kojih se pomaže učenicima u razvijanju pozitivne slike o sebi, ali i usvojanje uvažavanja različitosti među ljudima kao temeljnu vrijednost. Zdravstveni odgoj treba pomoći razvoju sustava vrijednosti kod učenika, potaknuti razvoj empatije i osjetljivosti za potrebe drugih,ali istodobno treba ukazati na neprihvatljiva ponašanja i određene pojave koje se ne smiju tolerirati ili ignorirati.
Rezultate Zdravstvenog odgoja možemo očekivati za nekoliko godina. Očekuje se da će sustavna i dosljedna provedba programa popraviti zabrinjavajuću zdravstvenu sliku populacije djece i mladih u Republici Hrvatskoj. Stoga je tijekom provedbe potrebno provoditi evaluaciju programa te ga nadograđivati i mijenjati sukladno primjerima dobre prakse.
Abstract (english) Health education begun in Republic of Croatia in 2012/2013. The point of Health education is successful development of the kids and young people so they could evolve in heathy, satisfied, successful, self-conscious and responsible persons.Programe of Health education is based on holistic understanding of health, which include preserving health and quality of life, human interaction between genders and sexuality, prevetion of addiction, culture of human communication and prevention of violent behavior. It has been hold through four modules of Health education: To live healthy, Prevention of addiction, Prevention of violent behaviour, Gender equality and responsible sexual behavior.
Important cause of all modules is evolvent of toleration, in which is important to help all students to develope positive image about themselves, but also is importan to adopt difference between people like fundamental value. Health education should help the students in developing of values, development od empathy, sensitivity for the needs of others, but should also indicate in inappropriate behavior and certain things which can not be tolerated or ignored.
Results of Health education we can expect in few years. It is expected that systematic and consistent implementation will improve worrying health situation of the kids and young people in Republic of Croatia. Therefore trough implementation is important to have evaluation of the programe as well as upgrade and change according to examples of good practise.
