Abstract
Medicinski tim koji sačinjava u najčešćem slučaju dvije medicinske sestre – tehničar i liječnik, trebali bi osigurati sigurnost bolesnika kao i sigurnost osoblja. Za to im je potrebno stručno znanje, iskustvo i rad unutar svojih kompetencija, te standardizirani postupci i protokoli. Svi ti postupci odnosno zadani algoritmi rada i funkcioniranja hitne medicinske službe i medicinskog transporta su u većini slučajeva standardizirani i propisani po uzoru na okolne razvijene zemlje kako je u prethodnim poglavljima ukazano. Dokazano je da takvi algoritmi dobro funkcioniraju i da je postignuto s njim ono najvažnije, a to je sigurnost pacijenta i medicinskog osoblja. Ključ napretka ovih specifičnih grana medicine je edukacija zdravstvenog kadra, te usavršavanje opreme bez koje zdravstveni tim ne bi mogao puno napraviti. Medicina svakog dana ide naprijed, oprema bi trebala biti što jednostavnija za korištenje, ali jedini pravi mjerni instrument u kojeg se zdravstveni djelatnik može pouzdati je on sam, skupa sa svim svojim znanjem i iskustvom.
Abstract (english)
The medical team, in the most of the cases is consisted of two nurses – technician and physician. They must ensure patient safety and the safety of the staff. For that they need expertise knowledge, work experience. They must work within their competence, and for that they need standardized procedures and protocols. All procedures and default work algorithms of emergency medical services and medical transport, they are in the most cases standardized and regulated along the lines of the surrounding developed countries. It has been shown that these algorithms work well. With them, medical teams achieved the most important thing, and that is the safety of the patient and medical personnel. The key of success of these specific branch of medicine is to educate medical staff, and improve medical equipment, because without it medical team could not do much. Every day medicine is going forward, and the equipment should be simple to use, but the only real measuring instrument in which a paramedic, nurse, physician can rely on is man himself along with all their knowledge and experience.
