Abstract
Već od davnina ljudi su primjetili da ispuštanjem otpadne vode dolazi do promjena u okolišu zbog prisustva sastojaka s dušikom i fosform. Jedan od načina uklanjanja sastojaka s dušikom i fosforom iz otpadne vode je SBR. SBR je sustav za pročišćavanje otpadne vode koji radi u pet faza. Faze su punjenje, reakcija, taloženje, pražnjenje i prazan hod. SBR omogućuje obradu otpadne vode iz različitih izvora uz slabe i promjenjive protoke vode Prednost SBR-a je u tome što se otpadna voda obrađuje u jednom bazenu, koji može raditi u aerobnim, anaerobnim i anoksičnim uvijetima. Kao i kod svih sustava za obradu otpadne vode, prije same obrade, potrebna je prethodna i primarna obrada, kojom se uklanjaju krupni otpad i nečistoće, poput smeća, šljunka, pjeska, ulja i masti.. U ovom radu opisani su procesi rada SBR-a, njegove prednosti i nedostatci, radne karakteristike, parametri koji se prate tijekom njegova rada te kemijski procesi koji se odvijaju tijekom faze reakcije.
Abstract (english)
A long time ago people have noticed that the presence of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds in wastewater can cause changes in the environment. One of the methods of removing those compounds from wastewater is SBR (Sequencing batch reactor). SBR is a wastewater treatment system which works in five phases. Those phases are: fill, react, settle, draw and idle. It enables the treatment of wastewater coming from different sources with a slow or changing flow.The main advantage of SBR is that all wastewater is treated in the same tank that can work in aerobic, anaerobic and anoxic conditions. As in all other wastewater treatment systems, preprocessing and filtering is needed to remove large waste fragments and dirt, such as gravel, sand, oil and fats. This thesis describes SBR, how SBR works, its advantages and disadvantages, operating characteristics, monitoring parameters and chemical processes which take place during the react phase.
