Abstract
Adhezija bakterijskih stanica na epitelne stanice gastrointestinalnog trakta je neophodan uvjet za kolonizaciju i jedan je od najvažnijih izbornih kriterija pri odabiru probiotičkih sojeva. Stoga je cilj ovoga rada bio ispitati utjecaj glutena (γ=1 mg/mL) na in vitro adheziju Lactobacillus sojeva na Caco-2 crijevne epitelne stanice čovjeka. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, primjenjena koncentracija glutena nije utjecala na adheziju probiotičkih sojeva na Caco-2 crijevne epitelne stanice. Svi ispitani Lactobacillussojevi (L. helveticus M92, L. brevis D6 i L. paraplantarum SF9B) su se adhezirali na Caco-2 crijevne epitelne stanice, bez obzira na dodatak glutena. Također, nije ustanovljen utjecaj glutena na preživljavanje ispitanih bakterija mliječne kiseline tijekom 2h inkubacije u fiziološkoj otopini.
Abstract (english)
The adhesion of bacterial cells to epithelian cells of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) is an indispensable requirement for colonization and one of the most important criteria in the selection of probiotic strains. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine the impact of gluten (γ=1 mg/mL) on in vitro adhesion of Lactobacillus strains to Caco-2 human epithelial cells. According to the results, applied concentration of gluten did not affect on adhesion of probiotic strains at Caco-2 epithelial intestinal cells. All of the Lactobacillus strains (L. helveticus M92, L. brevis D6 and L. paraplantarum SF9B) have shown the adhesion at Caco-2 epithelial intestinal cells, regardless of the addition of gluten. Also, it has not been established the impact of gluten on the survival of tested lactic acid bacteria during 2h incubation in saline solution.
