Abstract
Tijekom posljednjeg desetljeća u kozmetičkoj industriji raste interes za proizvodnjom prirodne kozmetike. Prisutan je naglasak na održivosti kada je u pitanju način odabira sastojaka, kao i način proizvodnje. Upotreba otapala neizostavan je dio u proizvodnji kozmetičkih proizvoda. Niskotemperaturna eutektička otapala smatraju se zelenom alternativom za trenutna organska otapala. U radu su predstavljena njihova svojstva, opisano je zašto se koriste u postupcima ekstrakcije biljnog materijala te kakav je njihov utjecaj na pripravljene biljne ekstrakte. Na kraju rada su opisani trenutni regulatorni okviri za kozmetičke proizvode.
Abstract (english)
Over the past decade the interest of the cosmetic industry to produce natural cosmetics has been on the rise. There has been an emphasis on sustainability which refers to the way ingredients are sourced, as well as the way of producing the product. The use of solvents is inevitable in production of many cosmetic products. Deep eutectic solvents are considered as green alternative solvents for current organic ones. In the thesis are presented their characteristics, as well as the explanation for their usage in plant extraction and their impact on prepared plant extracts. At the end of the thesis are explained the current regulatory frameworks for cosmetic products.
