Abstract
Crijevna mikrobiota dinamičan je sustav, podložan promjenama pod utjecajem vanjskih i unutarnjih čimbenika. Ima važnu ulogu u zdravlju domaćina jer je putem krvi povezana sa svim dijelovima organizma. U ovom radu analiziran je utjecaj konzumacije prebiotika u periodu od četiri tjedna na sastav mikrobioma košarkaša. Genetički materijal izoliran je iz uzoraka fecesa 18 ispitanika pri čemu je polovica ispitanika predstavljala kontrolnu skupinu. Rezultati sekvenciranja obrađeni su QIIME2 računalnim... More alatom i prikazani na taksonomskim razinama domena, koljeno, razred, red, porodica, rod i vrsta. ANCOM analiza pokazala je kako na taksonomskim razinama roda i vrste postoji statistički značajna razlika između sportaša koji su konzumirali prebiotike i koji ih nisu konzumirali. Izračunom alfa i beta raznolikosti utvrđeno je kako ne postoji statistički značajna razlika između sportaša koji su konzumirali prebiotike i koji ih nisu konzumirali. Međutim, ustanovljena je statistički značajna razlika među svim ispitanicima, bez obzira na konzumaciju prebiotika. Less
Abstract (english)
Intestinal microbiota is a dynamic system, subjected to changes under the influence of external and internal factors. It plays an important role in the host's health because it is connected to all parts of the body through the blood. This thesis analyses the influence of the consumption of prebiotics in a period of four weeks on the microbial composition of basketball players. Genetic material was isolated from the feces samples of 18 subjects, half of which represented the control group.... More Sequencing results were processed with the QIIME2 computer tool and displayed at the taxonomic levels of domain, genus, class, order, family, genus and species. ANCOM analysis showed that at the taxonomic levels of genus and species, there is a statistically significant difference between athletes who consumed prebiotics, and those who did not. By calculating the alpha and beta diversity, no statistically significant difference between athletes who consumed prebiotics and those who did not was found.
