Abstract
Zadnjih nekoliko desetljeća počeli su se razvijati procesi u skladu sa principima zelene kemije, odnosno proizvodnje i ekstrakcije prirodnih produkata što uključuje smanjenu potrošnju energije, veću sigurnost i kvalitetu po okoliš i potrošače. Zbog toga se tradicionalno korištena otapala zamjenjuju sa sigurnijim i efektivnijim niskotemperaturnim eutektičkim otapalima prilikom ekstrakcije bioaktivnih spojeva iz prirodnih izvora, a koji ujedno omogućavaju stabilizaciju tih spojeva. Neki od takvih visoko vrijednih prirodnih spojeva su polifenoli i vinska kiselina čiji je dobar izvor komina grožđa dobivana nakon procesa proizvodnje vina. Također, važan spoj je i lignin dobiven iz lignocelulozne biomase koja se u novije vrijeme procesira upravo niskotemperaturnim eutektičkim otapalima. Lignin dobiven takvim procesom veće je čistoće te posjeduje karakteristike prikladne za daljnju obradu.
Abstract (english)
In the last few decades, the processes of green chemistry, i.e. the production and extraction of natural products, have begun to develop, which includes reduced energy consumption, greater safety and quality for the environment and consumers. For this reason, traditionally used solvents are replaced with safer and more effective low-temperature eutectic solvents when extracting bioactive compounds from natural sources and enable their stabilization. Some of such highly valuable natural compounds are polyphenols and tartaric acid, a good source of which is grape pomace obtained after the winemaking process. Also, an important compound is lignin obtained from lignocellulosic biomass, which is recently processed with low-temperature eutectic solvents. The lignin obtained by such a process is of higher purity and has characteristics suitable for further processing.
