Abstract
Analiza profila strujanja sustava kapljevina-kapljevina provedena je za jedanaest sustava voda-organsko otapalo u dva mikroreaktora različite geometrije. U mikroreaktoru s glatkom stjenkom i mikroreaktroru s hrapavom stjenkom analizirano je strujanje za otapala koja se ne miješaju s vodom (benzen, cikloheksan, dietil eter, diklormetan, etilacetat, etilacetoacetat, heksan, kloroform, pentan, tetrahidrofuran i toulen). Ispitan je utjecaj hrapavosti površine stjenki mikroreaktora na profile strujanja. Eksperimenti su provedeni pri različitim omjerima protjecanja obiju faza (1:1, 1:3, 1:5, 1:7, 1:10, 3:1, 5:1, 7:1, 10:1). Analizom profila strujanja uočena je domininantnost segmentiranog profila strujanja za sve analizirane sustave u mikroreaktoru s hrapavim stjenkama. Provedena bezdimenzijska analiza pokazala je laminarno strujanje u oba mikroreaktora pri analiziranim protocima (vrijednosti Reynoldsovog broja manje od 100). Rezultati analize međufazne površine za segmentirani profil strujanja pokazali su da je međufazna površina veća u mikroreaktoru s hrapavim stjenkama, što ove sustave čini pogodnijima za učinkoviti prijenos tvari potreban za intenzifikaciju procesa.
Abstract (english)
Flow pattern analysis of 11 liquid-liquid systems (water-organic solvent) was preformed in two microreactor geometries. Flow patterns were analysed in a microreactor with surface roughness and in a microreactor without surface roughness for organic solvents immiscible with water (benzene, cyclohexane, diethyl ether, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, ethyl acetoacetate, hexane, chloroform, pentane, tetrahydrofuran and toulene). The effect of the surface roughness on flow pattern was analysed. The experiments were preformed at different flow ratios of both phases (1:1, 1:3, 1:5, 1:7, 1:10, 3:1, 5:1, 7:1 and 10:1). The flow pattern analysis reveled that slug flow is the most dominant flow pattern for all analysed liquid-liquid systems. Dimensionless analysis showed segmented flow to be laminar for both microreactors at all analysed flow rates (Reynolds numbers less than 100). Interfacial surface area analysis showed that interfacial surface is grather for microreactor with surface roughness, what makes this system more suitable for effective mass transfer necessary for process intensification.
