Abstract
Među metalocenima, najranije terapeutski korištenim organometalnim spojevima, posebno mjesto zauzima ferocen. U konjugatima s prirodnim aminokiselinama i peptidima ima ulogu začetnika okreta i plohi uslijed tvorbe intramolekulskih vodikovih veza. 1,1’-disupstituirani ferocenski peptidi dijele se u tri glavne skupine, od kojih je nama najzanimljivija ona izvedena iz ferocen-1,1ʼ-diamina (Fcda). Pošto je pikolinska kiselina (PA) važan biološki ligand i primarni prirodni kelator esencijalnih elemenata u tragovima, nameće se ideja za sintezom dodataka prehrani i lijekova koji sadrže PA. Uloga metalnih iona je krucijalna, jer su prisutni u svim staničnim strukturama i sudjeluju u mnogim staničnim procesima. U ovom diplomskom radu provedena je sinteza peptida PA-D-Ala-L-Pro-NH-Fn-NH-L-Pro-PA i njegova preliminarna konformacijska analiza korištenjem spektroskopskih metoda.
Abstract (english)
Among the metallocenes, the earliest therapeutically used organometallic compounds, ferrocene takes the special position. In its conjugates with natural amino acids and peptides, ferrocene induces the formation of the turns and sheets, owing to the presence of the intramolecular hydrogen bonds. 1,1'-disubstituted ferrocene peptides are divided in three main groups. We are essspecially interested in peptides derived from ferrocene-1,1'-diamine (Fcda). Since the picolinic (PA) acid is the important biological ligand and primary natural chelator of essential elements in traces, this imposes the idea for the synthesis of medicines and food supplements containing the PA. The role of metal ions is crucial, due to their presence in all cellular structures and involvement in many cellular processes. Within this work, we have been conducted the synthesis of peptide PA-D-Ala-L-Pro-NH-NH-Fn-L-Pro-PA and its preliminar conformational analysis by using spectroscopic methods.
