Abstract
U pokusu je istražen alelopatski utjecaj poljskog maka (Papaver rhoeas L.) na klijavost i rast klijanaca salate. Utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata od suhe mase stabljike i lista poljskog maka u koncentraciji od 5% proučen je u Petrijevim zdjelicama. Rezultati su pokazali da su vodeni ekstrakti od stabljike i lista značajno inhibitorno djelovali na klijavost i rast klijanaca salate. Klijavost sjemena smanjena je u tretmanu s ekstraktom stabljike za 14,9%, a u tretmanu s ekstraktom lista za 50,9%. Duljina klijanaca i njihova svježa masa značajno su smanjeni, posebice duljina korijena i to u oba tretmana za više od 85%. Ekstrakti lista poljskog maka pokazali su veći inhibitorni utjecaj u odnosu na ekstrakte stabljike.
Abstract (english)
Allelopathic effect of field poppy (Papaver rhoeas L.) on germination and growth of lettuce was investigated in the experiment. The effect of water extracts from dry biomass of stems and the leaves of the field poppy in a concentration of 5% was studied in Petri dishes. The results showed that water extracts from stem and leaf significantly inhibited germination and growth of lettuce seedlings. Seed germination was reduced by 14.9% in treatment with stem extract and in the treatment with leaf extract by 50.9%. The length of the seedlings and their fresh weight were significantly inhibited, especially the root length which was reduced in both treatments for more than 85%. The extract from leaves of field poppy had a greater inhibitory effect than stem extract.
