Abstract
Pojam agroturizma se javio krajem dvadesetog stoljeća kada su ga predstavnici poljoprivrednih gospodarstava uveli kao jedan od oblika svoje turistiĉke usluge. Agroturizam se smatra dijelom ruralnog turizma, a nazivaju ga i seoski turizam. Internet i društvene mreže ĉine integralni dio agroturizma, pri ĉemu je internet u zadnjih nekoliko godina postao nezaobilazan dio medijskog planiranja. Internet omogućava trenutne i uvijek dostupne informacije potencijalnim klijentima iz cijelog svijeta te predstavlja moćan komunikacijski kanal kojim se uĉinkovito mogu povezati subjekti ponude i potražnje u turizmu. U radu se istražuje uloga interneta i društvenih mreža u razvoju agroturizma. Za potrebe istraživanja provedena je anketa na sluĉajno odabrana 101 ispitanika svih dobnih skupina kao potencijalnih korisnika agroturistiĉke ponude. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako internet i društvene mreţe utjeĉu na bolju informiranost o proizvodima i uslugama agroturizma iako isti nije dovoljno promviran putem interneta. Također se pokazalo kako ispitanici smatraju da agroturizam nije precijenjen te da kvaliteta proizvoda i usluge mora imati svoju cijenu.
Abstract (english)
The term agrotourism came at the end of the twentieth century when the representatives of agricultural holdings introduced it as one of the forms of their tourist service. Agrotourism is considered part of rural tourism. The Internet and social networks are an integral part of agrotourism, whereby the internet has become an unavoidable part of media planning in recent years. The Internet provides current and always accessible information to potential clients from around the world and is a powerful communication channel that can effectively link the supply and demand of tourism stakeholders. The paper explores the role of the internet and social networks in the development of agrotourism. For research purposes, a survey was performed on randomly selected 101 respondents of all ages as potential users of agrotouristic offer. Research has shown that the internet and social networks affect better information on products and services of agrotourism although it is not sufficiently promoted via the Internet. It has also been shown that respondents believe that agrotourism is not overrated and that a quality of product and service must have its price.
