Abstract
Pod uzgojem sustava krava-tele podrazumijeva se pašni uzgoj goveda na kojem krave na pašnjaku othranjuju tele koje po završetku pašne sezone ostaje na gospodarstvu za rasplod ili tov ili ide na tržište. U uzgoju se koriste kombinirane i mesne pasmine goveda. U Hrvatskoj se sustav krava-tele primjenjuje na području Like, Gorskoga kotara, požeškog i đakovačkog gorja jer su to brdsko planinska područja sa velikim brojem pašnjaka koja su idealno stanište goveda, te se na ovaj način mogu najvećom dijelom iskoristiti. Zajedničko svim mesnim pasminama je da se drže u pašnom sustavu, tj. u pregonskim pašnjacima. Proizvodnju goveđeg mesa po principima sustava krava-tele najvećim djelom karakterizira proizvodnja crvenog angusa, charolais i limousine te križanaca navedenih vrsta. Primjer sustava krava-tele je OPG-Safundžić. Gospodarstvo je osnovano 2002. godine i trenutno raspolaže sa 29 krava i 2 bika te sa 70 ha . Abstract (english)
A cow-calf operation is a breeding method where the cows in the pasture raise the calf which then after the end of the grazing season either remains on the farm for further breeding or fattening or is placed on the market. Within this breeding method combined and meat cattle breeds are used. In Croatia, this breeding method is mostly used in the area of Lika, Gorski Kotar and area of Požega and Đakovo hills, as these parts of Croatia are mountainous areas with large numbers of grasslands that are ideal habitat for beef cattle, and can be ideally used for this purpose. Common to all meat breeds is that are kept in the pasture system, ie. in the rotational pastures. The production of beef meet within the cow-calf operation method is mostly characterized by red Angus, Charolais, Limousine and hybrids mentioned species production. One of examples of Cow.-calf operation breeding method is family farm Safundžić. Family farm operates since 2002. and currently owns 29 cows, 2 bulls and land area of 29 hectares.
