Abstract
U radu je procjenjen alelopatski utjecaj poljske ljubice (Viola arvensis Murray) na klijavost sjemena i rast klijanaca zelene salate. Ocjena alelopatskog utjecaja utvrđena je mjerenjem ukupnog postotka klijavosti, duljine korijena i izdanka klijanaca salate te svježe mase klijanaca salate. Vodeni ekstrakti od suhe biljne mase stabljike i lista u koncentraciji od 5% istraženi su u laboratorijskim uvjetima u Petrijevim zdjelicama. Vodeni ekstrakt stabljike poljske ljubice značajno je smanjio klijavost sjemena salate za 33,3%, dok je vodeni ekstrakt lista smanjio postotak klijavosti za 10,2%. Smanjenje duljine korijena u tretmanu s vodenim ekstraktom lista je iznosio je 78,41%. Vodeni ekstrakti stabljike jedini je imao značajan utjecaj na duljinu izdanka klijanaca. Značajan inhibitorni utjecaj zabilježen je i na svježu masu klijanaca, posebice s vodenim ekstraktom stabljike. Vodeni ekstrakt stabljike imao je veći negativni utjecaj od vodenog ekstrakta lista.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the study was to evaluate the allelopathic influence of field pansy (Viola arvensis Murray) on seed germination and seedlings growth of lettuce. The evaluation of allelopathic effect was determined by measuring the total germination (%), the length of the root and the shoot, and fresh weight of lettuce seedlings. Water extracts from dry stem and leaf plant biomass at a concentration of 5% were investigated in laboratory conditions in Petri dishes. The stem water extract significantly reduced the germination of lettuce seeds by 33,3%, while the leaf extract reduced the germination by 10,2%. Reduction of root length in lettuce treated by leaf water extract amounted up to 78,41%. Only stem water extract had a significant effect on the shoot length of seedlings. The inhibitory effect was also recorded on the fresh seedling weight, especially with the stem extract. Stem water extract had a more negative impact than a leaf water extract.
