Abstract
Gotovo je nemoguće proizvesti dovoljno hrane da se prehrani svjetsko stanovništvo bez suzbijanja štetnih organizama. Suvremena poljoprivredna proizvodnja zahtijeva poticanje ekološki prihvatljivih metoda u suzbijanju štetnih organizama za biljke, u koju spadaju i entomopatogene nematode. Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrditi kompatibilnost Heterorhabditis bacteriophora ISO9 i Steinernema feltiae ISO18 s insekticidom tiametoksam. Istraživanje je provedeno u laboratorijskim uvjetima, a svakih 1, 3, 24, 48 i 72 sata nakon inkubacije u insekticidu utvrđena je vitalnost i mortalitet entomopatogenih nematoda. Tretmani su postavljeni s preporučenom (100 %) koncentracijom insekticida i 20 % više od preporučene koncentracije insekticida. Pri inkubaciji nematoda u otopini s tiametoksamom najviše do 3 sata, mortalitet nematoda je prihvatljiv, odnosno iznosi najviše do 14 % što je usporedivo s kontrolnim tretmanom. Obje vrste testiranih nematoda su kompatibilne, odnosno mogu se miješati s insekticidom tiametoksam (Actara 25 WG), ali se preporučuju istraživanja realnim (poljskim) uvjetima u i laboratorijska istraživanja na različitim vrstama štetnika kako bi se potvrdila ova tvrdnja.
Abstract (english)
It is almost impossible to produce enough food to feed the world's population without pest control. Modern agricultural production requires the promotion of environmentally friendly methods (such as entomopathogenic nematodes) in control of harmful organisms for plants. The aim of this study is to determine the compatibility of Heterorhabditis bacteriophora ISO9 and Steinernema feltiae ISO18 with thiamethoxam insecticide. The study was conducted under laboratory conditions, and the viability and mortality of entomopathogenic nematodes was determined every 1, 3, 24, 48 and 72 hours after nematodes incubation in the insecticide. Treatments were prepared as the recommended (100 %) insecticide concentration and 20 % higher than the recommended insecticide concentration (120 %). When incubating nematodes in solution with thiamethoxam for up to 3 hours, nematode mortality is acceptable, i.e. up to 14 %, which is comparable to the control treatment. Both types of nematodes tested are compatible, i.e. they can be mixed with the insecticide thiamethoxam (Actara 25 WG), but field research and laboratory testing on different pests is recommended to confirm this claim.
