Abstract
U ovom radu objašnjeno je što je kućište (blok) motora, koji su njegovi sastavni dijelovi, gdje se nalazi, od čega se izrađuje, kakva je njegova kvaliteta, itd. Također je opisan proces lijevanja kućišta motora, materijali koji se koriste za lijevanje, kalupi za lijevanje, vrste lijevanja, razvoj tehnologija lijevanja, kako tradicionalnih tako i suvremenih postupaka izrade kućišta motora. Detaljno je pojašnjen proces izrade modela kućišta, pripreme kalupa, ulijevanja litine i hlađenja odljevka, te njegovog čišćenja i naposljetku mehaničke obrade odljevaka.
Abstract (english)
This paper explains what the housing (block) of the engine is, what are its components, where it is located, what it is made of, what is its quality, etc. The process of casting the motor housing, the materials used for casting, casting molds, types of casting, development of casting technologies, both traditional and modern methods of making the motor housing are also described. The process of making the model of the housing, preparing the mold, casting and cooling the casting, and its cleaning and ultimately mechanical treatment of the castings, are explained in detail.
