Abstract
Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati klijavost vrste Dahlia sp. pod utjecajem različitih pH vrijednosti u laboratorijskim uvjetima. Istraživanje je provedeno na sljedećim pH vrijednostima: 3,5, 4,5, 5,5, 6,5, 7,5 i 8,5. Ispitao se utjecaj navedenih pH vrijednosti na klijavost i energiju klijanja te na dužinu i masu klijanaca. Za pokus je korišteno sjeme Dahlia sp. proizvoĎača Franchi Sementi iz Italije. Sjeme je postavljeno u 18 Petrijevih posuda, za svaku pH vrijednost tri ponavljanja. Najbolja klijavost zabilježena je na pH vrijednosti 7,5 gdje je iznosila 69%. Na deklaraciji sjemena nema podatak o klijavosti pa se dobiveni rezultat ne može usporediti. Na pH 8,5 utvrĎena razlika izmeĎu energije klijanja i klijavosti iznosila je 0,22%, dok je na pH 4,5 zabilježena razlika od čak 9,33%. Istraživanje je pokazalo da su se, većinom, masa i dužina klijanaca povećavale s povećanjem pH vrijednosti. U svim parametrima mjerenja najbolji razvoj se pokazao na neutralnoj i lužnatoj do blago kiseloj vrijednosti.
Abstract (english)
Aim of the study was to examine the plant species Dahlia sp. under the influence of different pH values in the laboratory conditions. The study was conducted at the following pH values: 3,5, 4,5, 5,5, 6,5, 7,5 and 8,5. Influence of these pH values on germination and germination energy and on the length and weight of seedlings was examined. The seeds od Dahlia sp. manufactured by Franchi Sementi from Italy were used for this study. Seeds were placed in 18 Petri dishes, for each pH value three replicates. Best germination was recorded at pH 7,5 where it was 69%. There is no data on germination on the seed declaration, so the obtained result cannot be compared. At pH 8,5, the difference between germination energy and germination was 0,22%, while at pH 4,5 a difference of as much as 9,33% was recorded. The study showed that, for the most part, the weight and length of seedlings increased with increasing pH. In all measurement parameters, the best development was shown at neutral and alkaline to slighty acidic value.
