Abstract
Povezivanje krajolika je presudno za zdravlje ekosustava i očuvanje biološke raznolikosti, no oduvijek postoji problem urbanizacije koja povećava fragmentaciju staništa. Zeleni hodnici koji povezuju izolirane ostatke staništa (npr. parkovi) mogu povećati povezanost i pružiti usluge ekosustava u gradovima. Prazna zemljišta, posebno ona koja su raširena u gradovima koja se ujedno smanjuju, pružaju jedinstvenu priliku za ponovno povezivanje ovih krajolika. U ovom radu istražen je pojam 'zelena infrastruktura', te je prikazana primjena na stvarnoj lokaciji gdje se navode važni pojmovi, problemi, metode rada i smjernice za mogući napredak Požege i Požeško – slavonske županije
Abstract (english)
Landscape connectivity is critical for ecosystem health and biodiversity conservation, yet urbanization is increasing habitat fragmentation. Green corridors that connect isolated remnant habitat patches (e.g. parks) can increase connectivity and provide ecosystem services in cities. Vacant land, especially prevalent in shrinking cities, presents an unique opportunity to reconnect these landscapes. In this study, the term 'green infrastructure' is explored, presented in a real location where important concepts, problems, methods of work and guidelines for possible progress of Požega and her County are found.
