Abstract
Nitriranje je toplinsko-kemijski postupak modificiranja površine koji se temelji na difuziji dušika u površinski sloj obrađivanog predmeta kojim se postiže povećanje otpornosti na trošenje. U radu su opisani osnovni mehanizmi i oblici trošenja kojima su izloženi različiti dijelovi strojeva. Nitriranje je samo jedna metoda zaštite površina od trošenja, pa su u ovom radu objašnjene metode i postupci koji se koriste prilikom nitriranja te njihov učinak na nitrirani dio poljoprivrednih i drugih strojeva i alata. Također su opisani su i čelici koji su prikladni za izvođenje postupaka nitriranja. Na odabranim predstavnicima općih strojnih dijelova te dijelova poljoprivrednih strojeva objašnjeni su razlozi primjene nitriranja. U zaključku je navedena važnost zaštite strojnih dijelova koji rade u teškim uvijetima, pri čemu su izloženi velikom trenju i opterećenju, zbog čega im radne površine trebaju biti nitrirane.
Abstract (english)
Nitriding is a thermo-chemical process of surface modification based on the diffusion of nitrogen into the surface layer of a workpiece, which achieves an increase in wear resistance. The paper describes the basic mechanisms and forms of wear to which different parts of machines are exposed. Nitriding is only one method of protecting surfaces from wear, so this paper explains the methods and procedures used in nitriding and their effect on the nitrided part of agricultural and other machines and tools. Steels suitable for performing nitriding processes are also described. The reasons for the application of nitriding are explained on selected representatives of general machine parts and parts of agricultural machines. The conclusion states the importance of protecting machine parts that work in difficult conditions, where they are exposed to high friction and load, which is why their work surfaces need to be nitrided.
