Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je prikazati najznačajnije nutritivne karakteristike prirodnog dodatka maslačka u hranidbi domaćih životinja te posebno obraditi vrste i kategorije domaćih životinja kod kojih je isti primijenjen. Maslačak (Taraxacum officinale) je jedan u nizu brojnih ljekovitih prirodnih dodataka te se ubraja u najrasprostranjenije korovne i livadne biljke, te raste na livadama, travnjacima, pašnjacima, parkovima, uz prometnice, rijeke na zapuštenim staništima te vrtovima. Maslačak je naša medonosna biljka te u svom sastavu sadrži niz bioaktivnih komponenti. Istraživanja su pokazala kako maslačak (Taraxacum officinale) kao prirodni dodatak ima značajan pozitivan učinak na proizvodne pokazatelje, odabrane biokemijske pokazatelje u krvi, histomorfologiju tankog crijeva, sastav mikroflore u crijevu te imunološku funkciju. S obzirom na svoju dostupnost očekuje se kako će se ovaj prirodni dodatak sve više uključivati u obroke životinja
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to present the most important nutritional characteristics of natural dandelion supplementation in the feeding of domestic animals and to specifically address the species and categories of domestic animals in which it was applied. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is one of a number of medicinal natural additives and is one of the most widespread weeds and meadow plants that grows on meadows, grasslands, pastures, parks, along roads, rivers in neglected habitats and gardens. Dandelion is our honey plant and contains a number of bioactive components. Studies have shown that dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) as a natural supplement has a significant positive effect on production parameters, selected biochemical parameters in the blood, histomorphology of the small intestine, the composition of the microflora in the gut and immune function. Given its availability, it is expected that this natural supplement will increasingly be included in animal feeds.
