tlima (pH 5,5-6,5) 19 %, grupi neutralnih tala (pH 6,5-7,2) pripada 6,0 %, dok grupi alkalnih (pH > 7,2) tala
poljoprivrednu proizvodnju |
Abstract (english) | Reaction of soil solution have a significant influence on chemical, physical and biological properties of the
soil, nutrition bioavailability which is reflected on the growth and plants development. In agricultural
production this indicator could be a limiting factor. In acidic soil aluminium and manganese ions can have
toxic effects on the plant, bioavailability of some heavy metals are increased and accessibilitiy of other
metalsare reduced. In alkaline soil the accesibility of most biogenic elements to the plants are reduced,
especially microelements (except Mo). When selecting plant species, it is necessary to take care of pH soil
reaction, otherwise inadequate soil or plant species will result in poor plant appearance, plant decay and/or
loss of yield. The study found that the group of strongly acidic soils (pH <4.5) belongs to 22.0%, acidic soils
(pH 4.5-5.5) 26.0%, weakly acidic soils (pH 5.5-6, 5) 19%, the group of neutral soils (pH 6.5-7.2) belongs to
6.0%, while the group of alkaline (pH> 7.2) belongs to 27.0% of the total of 105 analyzed soil samples in
Eastern Croatia . After the research, we can say that the pH values have a very heterogeneous range of values
for all investigated soil types and that soil analysis is essential for knowing the reaction of the soil and thus
for successful agricultural production. |
