Abstract
Diplomski rad daje uvid u populaciju risa u različitim vremenskim razdobljima u Dinaridima. Temelji se na analizi svih poznatih i zabilježenih podataka iz pripreme i naseljavanja risa u kočevskim šumama, prostornog širenja, uspješnosti naseljavanja te trendova i prijetnji populaciji risa. Trendovi u populaciji su različiti i stoga je profesionalno i razumno prilagoditi profesionalne orijentacije i mjere. Dugoročni profesionalni cilj je očuvanje i zaštita najveće europske mačke na Dinaridima te povezivanje s drugim populacijama u Europi radi razmjene genetskog materijala, što je biološka nužnost ove vrste velikih zvijeri.
Abstract (english)
The thesis gives an insight into the lynx population in different time periods in the Dinarides. It is based on the analysis of all known and recorded data from the preparation and settlement of lynx in Kočevje forests, spatial expansion, the success of settlement and trends and threats to the lynx population. Trends in the population are different and therefore it is professional and reasonable to adjust professional orientations and measures. The long-term professional goal is to preserve and protect Europe“s largest cat in the Dinarides and connect with other populations in Europe to exchange genetic material, which is a biological necessity of this species of large carnivore.
