Abstract
Mlijeko je u svijetu jedan od najvažnijih prehrambenih proizvoda te je osnovna nezamjenjiva namirnica u prehrani ljudi. Organizmu daje energiju, proteine,vitamine, mliječne masti i minerale. U Hrvatskoj postoje određeni problemi sa samodostatnošću u proizvodnji mlijeka te se jedan dio mora uvoziti iz inozemstva. Na temelju podataka u ovom radu smo prikazali usporedbu u proizvodnji mlijeka na razini cijele Europske unije između 2016. i 2020. godine. Također smo usporedili brojnost mliječnih krava te broj farmi u svim državama Europske Unije. Za daljnju usporedbu smo izabrali Republiku Češku te smo usporedili cijene mlijeka, brojnost mliječnih goveda, prosječnu veličinu stada, broj krava u kontroli mliječnosti te zastupljenost određenih pasmina. Također napravili smo usporedbu o prosječnoj proizvodnji mlijeka po grlu za Simentalsku i Holstein pasminu. Republika Hrvatska od 1990. godine bilježi pad u proizvodnji mlijeka, pada broj mliječnih krava te sve više farmi prestaje sa radom. Republika Češka bilježi pad broja grla od 1990. godine do 2010. godine ali isto tako povećava prosječnu proizvodnju mlijeka po grlu.
Abstract (english)
Milk is one of the most important food products in the world and a basic non replaceable ingredient in diet of humans. It gives energy, proteins, milk fats, minerals and vitamins to an organism. In Croatia there are some problems with self sufficiency in milk production and Croatia has to import milk. From the data available in this research we compared milk production in the whole Europe between 2016 and 2020. Also we compared number of dairy cows and number of farms from the whole European Union. For further comparison we picked Czech Republic and compared prices of milk, number of dairy cows, average herd size, number of cows in milk control. Also we compared average production of milk for Simmental and Holstein breed. Republic of Croatia since 1990 has a decrease in milk production, number of dairy cows and more farms are stopping with agriculture. Czech Republic has a decrease of dairy cows but since 2010 it started to stabilise in the same time they have an increase in average milk production per cow.
