Abstract
Štete na šumskim vrstama biljaka koje su uzrokovane kukcima, gljivama i drugim patogenima, mogu dovesti do znatnih ekoloških i ekomomskih gubitaka. Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrditi insekticidnu učinkovitost primjene entomopatogene gljive Beauveria pseudobassiana na prezimljujuću generaciju hrastove mrežaste stjenice (Corythucha arcuata). Istraživanje je provedeno u šumskoj sastojini hrasta (Q. robur), u blizini Našica gdje se entomopatogena gljiva primjenila na mahovinu na stablima hrasta u jesen 2021. godine. Prije tretmana utvrđena je inicijalna populacija hrastove mrežaste stjenice i njen prirodni mortalitet, a mortalitet prezimljujuće generacije stjenice uvrđen je u proljeće 2022. godine, nakon tretmana. Prvim uzorkovanjem, u jesen, prikupljeno je 1,10 m2 mahovine u kojoj je pronađeno 73 jedinke od kojih je 33 (45,2 %) uginulih, a živih 40 (54,8 %). Ni na jednoj jedinki nije pronađen razvijen micelij entomopatogene gljive. Nakon tretmana s entomopaogenom gljivom, na površini od 2,14 m2 tretirane mahovine utvrđeno je ukupno 62 jedinke stjenice, od čega je živih 15 (24,2 %), a uginulih 47 (75,8%), a na 20 uginulih stjenica pri pregledu je nađen razvijeni bjeličasti micelij entomopatogene gljive. Nakon pregleda, stjenice su ostavljene na sobnoj temperaturi u periodu od 13 dana s ciljem mogućeg dodatnog razvitka micelija. Poslije 13 dana, mikroskopskim pregledom je utvrđeno kako je na 32,2% stjenica od ukupnog broja stjenica (živih i uginulih) bilo prekriveno micelijem (B. pseudobassiana). Ovim istraživanjem smo potvrdili virulentnost i učinkovitost B. pseudobassiana jer samo jedan tretman mahovine u jesen je uzrokovao mortalitet na više od 30% prezimljujućih hrastovih mrežastih stjenica. Svakako se preporučuju daljnja istraživanja s različitim koncentracijama entomopatogena, različitim strategijama primjene entomopatogena, kao i različitim vrstama štetnika kako bi se potvrdili rezultati ovog rada.
Abstract (english)
The damage on trees in forests caused by insects, fungi and other pathogens can lead to significant ecological and economic losses. The aim of this research was to determine the insecticidal effectiveness of the application of the entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) Beauveria pseudobassiana on the overwintering generation of the oak lace bug (Corythucha arcuata). The research was conducted in a oak forest (Q. robur), near Našice, where the EPF was applied to moss on oak trees in the fall of 2021. Before the treatment, the initial population of the oak lace bug and the natural mortality were determined. The mortality of the overwintering generation of oak lace bug was determined in the spring of 2022, after the moss treatment with EPF. In the fall, before the treatment, in total 1,10 m2 of moss was collected, in which 73 individuals of oak lace bug were found, of which 33 (45,2%) were dead, and 40 (54,8%) were alive. No traces of mycelium were found on any individual. After the EPF treatment, in spring, from 2,14 m2 of treated moss a total of 62 individuals was found, of which 15 were alive (24,2%), and 47 (75,8%) were dead, and 20 of them had developed mycelium on them. After the extraction, the oak lace bugs were left at room temperature for a period of 13 days with the aim of possible additional mycelium development. After 13 days, a microscopic examination revealed that 32,2% of the total number of extracted oak lace bugs were covered with mycelium (B. pseudobassiana). These results confirm virulence and effectivness of B. pseudobassiana against overwintering population of the oak lace bug, after only one treatment of the EPF.
