Abstract
Cilj rada bio je istražiti alelopatski potencijal ruderalnih biljnih vrsta na klijavost sjemena i rast klijanaca rajčice i salate. Vodeni ekstrakti od suhe nadzemne mase u koncentraciji od 5 % testirani su u kontroliranim laboratorijskim uvjetima. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da sve vrste posjeduju alelopatsko djelovanje, a prema prosječnom inhibitornom potencijalu mogu se rangirati od najveće do najmanje kako slijedi: Melilotus albus, Portulaca oleracea, Verbascum phlomoides, Plantago lanceolata, Cichorium intybus, Rorippa austriaca, Vicia grandiflora, Eupatorium cannabinum i Polygonum aviculare. Vodeni ekstrakt M. albus pokazao je najveće negativno djelovanje te je klijavost, duljinu korijena i izdanka u prosjeku smanjio za 43,9 %, 93 % i 89,4 %. Vodeni esktrakt P. oleracea pokazao je značajan stimulatorni utjecaj na obje test vrste. pH vodenih ekstrakata ruderalnih biljnih vrsta kretao se od 5,26 (P. aviculare) do 7,71 (V. grandiflora i M. albus), i nije utjecao na njihov inhibitorni potencijal.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the work was to investigate the allelopathic potential of ruderal plant species on seed germination and seedlings growth of tomato and lettuce. Water extracts from dry above-ground biomass in concentration of 5% were tested under controlled laboratory conditions. The research results showed that all species had an allelopathic effect, and according to the average inhibitory potential can be ranked from the highest to the lowest as follows: Melilotus albus, Portulaca oleracea, Verbascum phlomoides, Plantago lanceolata, Cichorium intybus, Rorippa austriaca, Vicia grandiflora, Eupatorium cannabinum and Polygonum aviculare. The water extract of M. albus showed the greatest negative effect and reduced germination, root and shoot length by 43.9%, 93% and 89.4% on average. Water extract of P. oleracea showed a significant stimulatory effect on both test species. The pH of water extracts of ruderal plant species ranged from 5.26 (P. aviculare) to 7.71 (V. grandiflora and M. albus), and did not affect their inhibitory potential.
