Abstract
U ovom radu praćen je i prikazan uzgoj kukuruza na obiteljskom poljoprivrednom gospodarstvu „Siniša Žiška“ kroz dvije godine. Vremenski uvjeti kroz 2021. i 2022. godinu razlikovali su se od prosječnih uvjeta vezanih za područje na kojem se nalazi OPG. Količina oborina u 2021. godini u mjesecima vegetacije kukuruza bila je iznad prosjeka, ali ipak manje nego u 2022. godini. Ova kultura je važna u ishrani ljudi, hranidbi životinja i u agrotehnici. Sve agrotehničke mjere su provedene po pravilima struke. Osnovna obrada tla je obavljena u vidu jesenskog dubokog oranja. Dopunska obrada tla obavljena je u proljeće prije sjetve kukuruza. Sjetva je u obje godine obavljena u drugoj polovici travnja. Za zaštitu usjeva od korova korišteni su herbicidi i mehanička zaštita. Prosječni prinosi kukuruza na gospodarstvu su bili zadovoljavajući, a iznosili su 2021. godine 13 t/ha, a naredne godine iznosili su 9 t/ha, što je više od prosjeka u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the cultivation of corn on the family farm „Siniša Žiška“ was monitored and presented over two years. Weather conditions throughout 2021 and 2022 differed from the average conditions related to the area where OPG is located. The amount of precipitation in 2021 in the months of the corn growing season was above average, but still less than in 2022. This crop is important in human nutrition, animal nutrition and in agricultural technology. All agrotechnical measures were carried out according to the rules of the profession. Basic tillage was done in the form of autumn deep plowing. Supplementary tillage was carried out in the spring before sowing corn. Sowing in both years was carried out in the second half of April. Herbicides and mechanical protection were used to protect crops from weeds. Average corn yields in the farm were satisfactory, amounting to 13 t/ha in 2021, and 9 t/ha the following year, which is higher than the average in the Republic of Croatia.
