Abstract
Vegetacija batata ( Ipomea batatas L.) traje od 3 do 5 mjeseci, a uzgaja se u bezmraznom razdoblju. Najčešće se uzgaja vegetativno, „presadnicama“ (ukorijenjenim izbojima iz korijena), pazeći na temperaturu zraka i tla u trenutku sadnje. Poželjna je temperatura tla viša od 18 °C, odnosno, rokovi sadnje su u kontinentalnom dijelu Hrvatske oko 15. svibnja dok u mediteranskom dijelu sadnja može započeti oko 15. travnja. Presadnice uzgojene u kontejnerima imaju potpuno pravilan i jednak vegetacijski prostor što omogućuje ujednačen porast biljaka i visoku ujednačenost presadnica. Sam proces proizvodnje presadnica traje intenzivno tijekom dva mjeseca od postavljanja korijena pa do isporuke presadnica.
Abstract (english)
Vegetation sweet potato takes 3 to 5 months, and is cultivated in none frost period. The most commonly grown vegetatively, "transplants" (rooted shoots of the roots), noting the temperature of the air and the ground at the time of planting. A desirable soil temperatures higher than 18 ° C, respectively, of planting in the continental part of the Croatian around May 15 while in the Mediterranean planting can begin around April 15th. Seedlings grown in containers are totally proper and equal spacing size allowing uniform plant growth and high uniformity of seedlings. The process of production of seedlings is intense during the two months of setting up the roots to the delivery of seedlings.
