Abstract
Cigansko perje (Asclepias syriaca L.) je invazivna višegodišnja biljka koja potječe iz porodice Asclepiadaceae. Cilj rada je utvrditi alelopatski utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata pripremljenih od suhe nadzemne mase ciganskog perja (A. syriaca L.) na klijavost i početni rast klijanaca salate (L. sativa). U laboratorijskom pokusu u Petrijevim zdjelicama istraživan je utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata od suhe nadzemne mase ciganskog perja različitih koncentracija (1%, 2,5%, 5%) na klijavost, duljinu izdanaka i korijena klijanaca salate. Najniža koncentracija pozitivno je utjecala na duljinu izdanaka i svježu masu klijanaca salate, te je utvrđeno da se s povećanjem koncentracije značajno smanjuje duljina izdanaka i svježu masu klijanaca salate.
Abstract (english)
Common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca L.) is an invasive perennial plant from the Asclepiadaceae family. The aim of the work is to determine the allelopathic influence of aqueous extracts prepared from the dry aerial mass of common milkweed (A. syriaca L.) on the germination and initial growth of lettuce (L. sativa) seedlings. The effect of water extracts from dry above-ground biomass of common milkweed in different concentrations (1%, 2.5%, 5%) on germination, length of shoots and roots of lettuce seedlings was investigated in a laboratory experiment in Petri dishes. The lowest concentration had a positive effect on the length of shoots and the fresh weight of lettuce seedlings, and it was determined that the length of shoots and the fresh weight of lettuce seedlings significantly decreased with increasing extract concentration.
