Abstract
Istraživanje je provedeno u cilju ispitivanja alelopatskog utjecaja vodenih ekstrakata pripremljenih od svježe i suhe nadzemne mase žute vučje stope (Aristolochia clematitis L.) na klijavost i rast Teofrastovog mračnjaka (Abutilon theophrasti Medik.) i oštrodlakavog šćira (Amaranthus retroflexus L.). U posudama s tlom je ispitivan učinak ekstrakata svježe i suhe mase u koncentracijama od 5 i 10%, dok su u petrijevim zdjelicama korišteni ekstrakti u koncentracijama od 1, 5 i 10%. Ekstrakti su imali snažniji alelopatski utjecaj na oštrodlakavi šćir. Alelopatski utjecaj žute vučje stope na tretirane korove bio je uglavnom slabiji u posudama s tlom nego u petrijevim zdjelicama, a razlika je posebno uočljiva kod primjene ekstrakata od svježe mase. U posudama s tlom najjači utjecaj zabilježen je na nicanje tretiranih korova, dok je u petrijevim zdjelicama klijavost bila najmanje inhibirana. Ekstrakti suhe mase pokazali snažniji alelopatski utjecaj na korove u odnosu na ekstrakte svježe mase.
Abstract (english)
The study was conducted to examine the allelopathic effect of water extracts prepared from fresh and dry above-ground biomass of birthwort (Aristolochia clematitis L.) on germination and growth of velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti Medik.) and redroot pigweed (Amaranthus retroflexus L.). The effect of extracts from fresh and dry biomass in concentrations of 5 and 10% in pots with soil, and effect of extracts in 1, 5 and 10% concentrations in Petri dishes was examined. Extracts had stronger allelopathic effect on redroot pigweed. Allelopathic effect on weeds was generally lower in pots with soil than in Petri dishes. The difference is particularly noticeable when extracts from fresh biomass were applied. In pots with soil extracts had the greatest impact on weed emergence, while in Petri dishes germination was less affected. Extracts from dry biomass had stronger inhibitory effect compared to extracts from fresh biomass.
