Abstract | Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj 22 eteriĉna ulja (anis, timijan, kim, paprena metvica, lavanda, kadulja, matiĉnjak, ružmarin, mirta, cimet list, bosiljak, bijeli bor, eukaliptus, cedar, bergamot, mandarina, ĉempres, paĉuli, Ċumbir, gorka naranĉa, sandal, kamfor) na rast uzroĉnika sive plijesni (Botryris cinerea). |
Abstract (english) | The aim of this study was to determine the effect of 22 essential oils (anise, thyme, cumin, peppermint, lavender, sage, lemonbalm, rosemary, myrtle, cinnamon leaf, basil, white pine, eucalyptus, cedar, bergamot, mandarin, cypress, patchouli, ginger , bitter orange, sandalwood, camphor) on growth of gray mold (Botryris cinerea), while water was used as a control. The experiment was performed in vitro on PDA medium in 2 repetitions. Oils were applied at three amounts (3, 5 and 7μl), and the mycelial growth was measured 4 times during 12 days (every 3 days). All oils, except oils of bitter orange, sandalwood and camphor, have shown a certain antifungal activity. Compared to the control, the best antifungal activity have shown thyme and ginger oil, while for oils of bitter orange, sandalwood and camphor was determined a stimulating effect on growth of fungus Botrytis cinerea. |
