Abstract
U radu su prikazane i obrađene sve vrste lučkih tegljača koje se koriste u suvremenom pomorstvu s naglaskom i detaljnim uvidom u njihovu svrhu tijekom izvođenja operacija i tehnologiju koju posjeduju. Obrađeni su konvencionalni lučki tegljači, tegljači traktori, tegljači s azimutalnim porivom, Voith-Schneiderovi tegljači, rotor tegljači te modul za prihvat brodova (Ship Docking Module – SDM) i carousel tegljači. Za svaki tegljač je obrađena tehnologija, način generiranja poriva i sile povlačenja te način na koji se određeni tegljač koristi tijekom operacija tegljenja kao i metode koje koriste tegljači s obzirom na njihove mogućnosti i čimbenike. Uz tegljače opisana je i oprema koju tegljači koriste tijekom izvršavanja svojih operacija od bitvi, kuka i vitala za tegljenje pa sve do užadi koje se koriste tijekom tegljenja. Posebno valja naglasiti da je napravljen kratak osvrt lučkih tegljača u svojstvu SWOT analize na samom kraju rada gdje su za svaki pojedini tegljač izražene prednosti i nedostatci kao i prilike i prijetnje.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents and analyzes all types of harbor tugs used in modern maritime industry with emphasis and detailed insight into their purpose during the towing operations and technology they possess. Conventional harbour tugs, tractor tugs, tugs with azimuth propellers, Voith-Schneider tugs, rotor tugs as well as SDM and carousel tugs have beeen presented and analyzed. For each harbour tug, the technology, the method of generating propulsion and pulling force, and the way a particular tug is used during towing operations, as well as the methods used by tugs in terms of their capabilities and factors are presented and dealt with. Additionally, tugs' essential equiment is also described that is used during their operations starting with bits, hooks and winches to the ropes used during the towing.It should be emphasized that a short review of harbour tugs has been made in the form of SWOT analysis at the very end of this paper where, advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threaths for every single tug are presented.
