Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad opisuje brodove jaružala s naglaskom na značajne metode jaružanja. U radu se pobliže razmatraju jaružala kao zasebna vrsta brodova u pomorskom svijetu, počevši od osnovne definicije takvih brodova, nadalje sveopće važnosti jaružala u svijetu i svrhe jaružanja, te se navode i objašnjavaju metode jaružanja koje čine glavni i najvažniji dio ovog rada. U nastavku rada se analiziraju najpoznatiji projekti jaružanja u svijetu te različiti ekonomski faktori koji utječu na formiranje cijena rada jaružala i njihovog općeg troška korištenja zaključno sa SWOT analizom gdje je provedena analiza i komparacija prednosti, slabosti, prilika i prijetnji za nekoliko najkorištenijih metoda jaružanja.
Abstract (english)
This graduate thesis is based upon dredging ships, also known as dredgers, with special focus on the dredging methods. The paper deals more closely with the dredgers as a distinct type of ships in the maritime world, starting with the basic definitions of such ships, further the importance of dredgers in the world and the purpose of dredging, and outlining and describing the dredging methods which make up the main and most important part of this work. In the course of the paper, the most famous global dredging projects and various economic factors affecting the formation of the price of the dredging work and their overall cost of use are analyzed, concluding with the SWOT analysis where analysis and comparisons of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for some of the most common dredging methods were carried out.
